Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American performer and actress. She is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native who was born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). Her ancestry is Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen's talents for performing were recognized at an early age. In 1992 she won her first role at an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mom enrolled her with an agency just before turning 13 years old. She later appeared on television commercials and newspaper ads. Also, Bell began taking private acting classes. Bell had a role that was not credited in Polish Wedding (1998), a film released in 1998. Bell studied at Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama clubs. The school's show of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was chosen to play Dorothy. Bell went on to study musical theatre at the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell dropped out of school in 2001, and began taking on the role Becky of Tom Sawyer. In 2001, it was also that Bell's first appearance in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). The scene she appeared in is cut off and only the credits show her. In 2002, Bell was in the Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
