Liza Snyder

Snyder was born in Northampton, Massachusetts. The mother of her, who is a songwriter and singer was her father. He's also a theatre professor of theatre at Smith College. Snyder graduated from the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City, where she studied under Sanford Meisner. Snyder started her acting career by appearing in episodes of television dramas including The Trials of Rosie O'Neill and Murder, She Wrote. She was in 1993 cast in the role of Molly Whelan on the ABC-syndicated crime drama Sirens. She co-starred with two television movies and appeared as guest in Chicago Hope and Pacific Blue following the cancellation of the show. Her role was regular in The NBC comedy Jesse with Christina Applegate from 1998-2000. Her debut on the big screen was the secondary role of Pay It Forward directed by Mimi Leder. Following that, Snyder began starring as Christine Hughes on the CBS sitcom Yes, Dear. The show ended in 2006 when it ended. The show ended in 2006. In 2011, she made her return to television with guest starring role in an episode of House, playing a patient in need of a lung transplant.
